History
The “Kubus” sofa was made for an exhibition in Buenos Aires, organized in 1910 to celebrate the centennial of Argentina’s independence. The name is reminiscent of cubism, which was born and affirmed during those years. Above all, Kubus is the symbol of passion for geometric forms and his continual use of the square. For this reason, his style - also in architecture - was named “Quadratstil”. Solid wood frame covered with polyurethane foam. Upholstery made of individually stitched and piped leather pieces. Feet in lacquered beech-wood.
