CDI WARRANTY

We believe in quality and durable products. Made with the best materials by experienced hands and designed to last to everyday usage for a long time. That is why we offer, in addition to the 2 years warranty provided by the Consumer Code, an additional guarantee ( duration depending on the article) on our products. You will have just to keep the purchase receipt, that's all.

We will replace, a part or the entire item, if it shows a production defect within the warranty period, a swift as possible. Unfortunately, the replacement under warranty is possible only within the European territorial limits. To verify the existence of a production defect, we will ask you to return the product to our HQ where our experts will examine it in order to confirm that the warranty applies. In case a production defect is confirmed the shipping cost will be immediately reimbursed. (Otherwise, if warranty service is not applicable, you can refer to Out of Warranty Terms and Conditions below).

Warranty exclusions

  • Any direct, indirect or incidental damages arising from the daily usage of the product.
  • Damages that may have resulted from normal wear and tear or misuse/abuse or modification of the product usage destination without our consultation e/o approval.
  • Failure to comply with care and maintenance instructions accompanying the product. In order to keep your purchase in top condition, we recommend using special products conceived by us, like the Leather Care Kit, the Metal Polisher or the Marble Care Kit.
  • Damage from direct exposure to sunlight and/or heat sources, and similar conditions, with resulting discolouration.
  • Shall not be considered defects: Natural variations occurring in wood, marble, fabric and leather; natural settling of the padding; natural markings or creases caused by damage to the leather or by variations in the grain and colour due to the leather’s natural properties (characteristics that simply reflect the use of genuine leather)
  • Overload on the structures, misuse or any use of the product other than that for which it was designed.

Out of warranty terms and conditions

If for any reason it is determined that a warranty service is not applicable, we will provide you with our best offer for the product reparation.
We will wait for you to give authorisation before proceeding and in case our offer would be declined, we will make sure to return you the article, if not instructed otherwise. Accepting a cost estimate will ensure that the product progresses via our repair process and once repaired it will be dispatched to you. In both cases the shipping costs will have to be covered by you, depending on the kind of product.
