The famous “Zig-zag” was designed between 1932 and 1934. This is a model of chair that surpasses every previous design: it does not have legs but only horizontal planes with a diagonal support. It can be said that it is a kind re-elaboration of the cantilever, the chair without the rear legs, but with an absolutely original line. Only wood (natural ash hardwood) and two triangular joints, one at the bottom and one at the top, in order to maintain rigidity. Ash wood frame, natural polished or lacquered finish.
